I’ve had my eye on these little suckers for way to long now! A few weeks ago I made a post about how I’ve been wanting them, and you guys know I’m in love with anything lip balm-y, and especially tinted ones. The other day I was bored because my family wanted to go into Best Buy, so I chose to go to Ulta instead because it was just 1 store over. I really love Ulta because I swear it has everything. Everything from drugstore makeup, to high end, to nail polish, to hair straighteners. Basically, my dream land. I ended up going to the drugstore makeup first and just happened to see the Revlon lip butters. I ended up picking up two of them because they were buy 1 get 1 50% off, and I had a $3.50 off $10 coupon. I ended up getting them for just shy of $8, which was buy 1 get 1 free. Lets just say I was a happy camper.
The first one I chose because I knew I wanted a more wearable ‘slap it on and go’ pink that wasn’t too dramatic, but wasn’t invisible. I ended up going with Berry Smoothie. It’s a gorgeous pink that is great for any age group.
The second one I picked out was Candy Apple. I wanted a red that I could sheer out so I could wear a dramatic lippie without wearing something thick and drying, or wet and sticky. I though about getting Cherry Tart, but Candy Apple was a bit more yellow, which is where I like it.
Overall I love the colors, I love the formula, and I can assure you next time there is a good deal on Revlon at CVS or Walgreens you’ll be seeing a haul from me! Comment below and let me know your thoughts on the lip butters and let me know your favorite shade! I need to know which one to buy next!
